New Data on Who Gets Stock Options The Update discussed the U.S. Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics National Compensation Survey: Employee Benefits in Private Industry in the United States, March 2007: “A 2007 Bureau of Labor Statistics survey indicates that about 8% of all private sector employees (about 9 million people) have stock options.
